ALERTWest Overview

ALERTWest is a wildfire detection and monitoring tool using thousands of ground-based cameras to promote firefighter situational awareness over large geographical areas. ALERTWest's architecture is designed to maximize the ability to adapt and evolve the application as the need for new services arise, including third party integrations.

CDK & GitHub Actions

ALERTWest uses CDK as the IaaC provider and GitHub Actions as the CI/CD runtime. Any and all changes to the application, including infrastructure changes, are made through version-controlled GitHub repositories to ensure consistent delivery and uptime.
